Professional Experience

December 2022 - Present

System Administrator

Kaemark Furnishings

I have gained an incredible amount of knowledge from my position here at Kaemark. It has tought me everything from help desk to high level decision making that will help the company in the long-term. I've been apart of many projects that have improved business processes and generated tangible improvements to workflows. I've documented the entire IT infrastructure of the facility, built SOPs and created policies that comply with national standards. Being the sole IT admin for an entire manufacturing facility can have its challenges, but it's been nothing I cannot handle and overcome with my ever evolving skill set.

June 2022 - August 2022

CyberSecurity Intern

Texas Department of Criminal Justice

My time with TDCJ was a unique experience that I thoroughly enjoyed working under the CISO. I was able to tour a couple of the prisons and see the interworkings of their IT infrastructure. I mostly worked with the CyberSecurity team in handling everyday tasks such as email comliance, but I also was able to participate in an investigation of an employee's workstation to uncover any prohibited actions/items.

2017 - 2022

Technology Management

Texas A&M University

I had your pretty typical college experience at Texas A&M, except it wasn't because halfway through, COVID hit and changed how many classes were held. Now being a tech management major, I had quite a few online classes arlready so I was able to adapt pretty quickly.

Regardless, I learned a lot through my various classes, from the basics of DevOps, classes focused on programming, networking, SQL databases and unix based administration.
